Day 6 ( 8 April 2024)

Arranging Filing Documents 

Today, I spent part of my internship organizing and arranging filing documents in the filing room. This task involved sorting, categorizing, and ensuring that all documents were stored systematically for easy retrieval. Attention to detail was crucial in ensuring that no files were misplaced and that all were arranged in their respective sections.

Lessons Learned:

Organization and attention to detail which is while arranging the filing documents, I learned the importance of being methodical and precise. A well-organized filing system makes future tasks more efficient, saves time, and reduces errors when retrieving important documents.


Day 7 ( 9 April 2024)



Hari Raya Decorations by Diara, Thana and Priya <3

Purchasing Hari Raya Decoration

Since Hari Raya is coming soon, I and Priya (intern from UM) going out to purchase Hari Raya decorations. We visited a few stores, including MR DIY, to gather the items needed to decorate the office for the festive season. The team worked together to pick out various decorations such as lights, ornaments, and other festive items, We always keeping in mind both the theme and the budget.

Lessons Learned:

Throughout the day, I learned that team collaboration as shopping for Hari Raya decorations with the staff was a great opportunity to experience teamwork and collaboration. It was essential to communicate and coordinate effectively with others to ensure we selected appropriate decorations that aligned with the theme. Plus, creativity and budget management which is while selecting decorations, I learned how to be creative with limited resources. Staying within the budget while ensuring that the office looked festive was a valuable skill that I gained throughout the tasks.

April Journal - 1st Week

WEEK 1  Date: 1 April 2024 - 5 April 2024 Day : Monday - Friday  Location : BDO Office, Level 18, Menara Zurich Time: 8.30 a.m - 5.30 p.m TASKS OF THE WEEK First day as intern Day 1 ( 1 April 2024) Watched orientation video During the first day, I report at the company at 8.30am to the audit admin, Ms Ong Rui Ying and received company laptop, book note, lanyard and access card to enter the office. Then, I need to fill in the trainee data form and Form ID to be submitted to HQ BDO KL. Other than that, I also doing the assessment given which is sign up to MyNext Talent Portal and do some Psychometric assessment related to work values,work interests, personality & motivation, employability, career explorer, the future of work and English proficiency test.
